Temporary visits refer to short-term stays not exceeding 90 days for purposes of tourism or sightseeing. However, this visa does not permit income deriving or profit making activities.
Only applicants from India, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, China, Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia, and Saudi Arabia are eligible to apply for a Multiple-entry visa. For applicants from other countries, a multiple-entry visa is not applicable, unless it is for business purposes and it is subject to the Embassy’s approval.

A tourist visa to Japan is granted for a domestic helper holding a valid Singapore work permit accompanying her employer to Japan, for example, for taking care of her employer’s child(ren) during the trip or to assist elderly member(s) of the employer’s family, can apply for a Temporary-Visitor visa.
Domestic helpers intending to travel without their employers will not be eligible to apply for visa in Singapore.
